Dear Ten Thousand Residents ,
We would like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for
your patience and support during these unprecedented times.
COVID-19 remains a serious threat to our nation’s economy and
health. We are confident that together we will weather this pandemic as
a team. We are committed to providing you with a safe, well-maintained
community and appreciate the support we receive from each of you.
For those residents who are unfortunately in severely difficult
financial situations as a result of COVID-19, Gavin Newsome has issued
an Executive Order and the Los Angeles City Council has enacted an
Ordinance allowing those tenants to defer payment of rent if they
experience an inability to pay rent as a direct result of COVID-19. The
Los Angeles City Council passed an amendment to the original ordinance
which went into effect on May 12, 2020. A copy of the Evictions Protection Fact Sheet is linked for your convenience.
Should you fall into the financial difficulties contemplated by
the Order and Ordinance, and as a result you are unable to pay all of
your rent, please contact Ten Thousand’s Management Office for an
application for a temporary rent deferral.
Sincerely,
MICHAEL DUCHATEAU
General Manager
